Heidenhain AMO – Guided Incremental Linear Inductive Encoders
Measuring Scale
Our guided measuring encoders have the scale integrated into a guide rail. The rails can be supplied in lengths up to 3 m or as multi-piece rails for longer lengths. Optional higher accuracy classes are available.
LMF – 3010
The LMF-3010 measuring rail is available in one-piece or multi-piece design. High accuracy can be achieved with an adjustment screw at the end of the rail. The scale tapes are also available in accuracy classes of ± 20 µm/m or ± 50 μm/m. The scale can include one or multiple coded reference marks to determine absolute position along the measuring axis.
Scanning heads
The scanning heads have a high degree of protection and immunity to contamination due to their IP 67 rating .
Outputs are available with 1 Vpp sine wave signal periods of down to 20 μm, or TTL (RS 422) square wave output with resolutions down to 0,125 microns.
The scanning head can be attached with a flexure to allow higher assembly tolerances, such as occur in long-distance measuring.
LMK – 3010
Encoder output versions are available with 1 Vpp sine wave signal periods of down to 20 μm or TTL (RS 422) square wave with resolutions down to 0,125 microns. The scanning heads are distinguished by their high degree of protection IP 67 and are insensitive to pollution (oil, coolant, dust, etc.). The option to install the scanning head by a spring element allows a large mounting tolerance as is necessary for long-distance measuring.
